It all began with this little box just over 2 years ago. I first met this precious couple when they were expecting their now 2 year old. They brought along this little wooden box, a boy and girl baby outfit and a sealed envelope from their ob/gyn doctor’s office. They handed it all over to me and I walked away to my car, discretely opened the envelope and discovered they were having a baby boy, then I placed the blue outfit inside. Nine months later, we welcomed this sweet little fellow above.
Now….fast forward 2 years … baby # 2 is on the way and I was honored to continue our gender reveal tradition at the same location as before. We met yesterday and the skies were dark and overcast. I prayed all day that it wouldn’t rain so we could shoot outdoors at the same location as before. The clouds darkened, but never a drop of rain!
We were all excited to see if this little guy was going to have a baby brother or a baby sister…
I put the baby outfit and ultrasound results inside this little wooden box, so at this point I “know” what is inside and it’s soooooooo hard not to give it away … so exciting!!!
All eyes are on the content of this box and I know what’s inside, now they do too ….look at this raw emotion …such joy as they learn more about their baby …
I see PINK … it’s a girl!!!
He’s going to be an amazing big brother!
I could not be happier for this sweet family … baby sister is going to be so loved! So grateful I had the opportunity to share in this journey with them. :)
