Happy Sunday! I’s been another busy week in and outside of the studio. We blinked and it’s February … many are thinking of Valentine’s, but this photographer is ready for Spring! So much goodness planned this year, stay tuned for all the details.
We had a gorgeous maternity photo shoot outdoors yesterday. Yes…outdoors…in February …in North Carolina and the weather was perfect. Temperatures will reach the 70’s this week…can you believe it? I love it as I have a few outdoor sessions scheduled and weather looks amazing this week.
We met this sweet baby boy, pictured above, around one week of age. He snuggled into his newborn portrait session and slept like a champ. Ever wonder how we get the sleepy baby portraits? Truth is every baby is different, some are better sleepers than others… but we prepare our clients with literature on “what to expect” and “how to prepare for newborn portrait sessions.” We have found many helpful hints to prepare clients over the years, and they really work!
We believe in helping our clients through every stage of the process of their portrait experience. It all begins from our first contact with our clients. Many clients are surprised at our prompt response and personal phone or in-studio consultation prior to booking. We have a very hands-on approach to our booking process as we like to meet or chat with our clients before they book. We like to learn about them, their journey and what they are looking for from a photography experience. We like to connect with our clients before photographing them, this helps put them at ease before they are in front of our lens for a maternity portrait session or handing us their baby during a newborn portrait session. The service we offer is a personal one and we strive to provide the highest level of customer service and attention to our clientele.
