Sunrise … it’s my favorite time of day for baby photo sessions! We met this little baby portrait planner at sunrise at one of my hidden little spots just between Chapel Hill and Greensboro. This location offers beautiful backdrops of nature PLUS amazing lighting at sunrise, just what I was looking for with this portrait session.
She arrived all smiles…happiest baby ever! Mom had her perfectly styled (as always) and the rest was magic. We captured gorgeous images in the beautiful pastel sunrise and played with so many props during her 6 month milestone “sitting” session.
Speaking of sitting, she sat so well and strong throughout the session, allowing us to play with a variety of different props. I always suggest scheduling the 6 month photo shoot when baby is sitting well, even if it ends up being a bit past 6 months. Most babies are sitting firmly by 7 months and waiting for that stability allows for more variety throughout the session and is safer for baby too.
Here’s one of my favorites, but there were so many favorites from this session, you’ll be seeing so much more of this beautiful baby girl. When I peeked at her images prior to editing, I was so excited and immediately dove into the editing of her images …working until 4am to finish them up! :)
