A sweet newborn is one the way, and this little fellow will soon be a big brother! I know he will be the best big brother ever as he is sweet, kind and gentle soul…and so excited to meet baby!

We met before sunrise for hair and makeup with our stylist prior to the photo shoot. Mom had a beautiful maternal glow about her and we captured magic. There’s always something special captured when pure love shines through in the portraits, and this portrait session was all about love.

I always say our babies grow so quickly and they do, but so has our business. So I thought I would share a few of the changes that have developed this year.

It’s nearly November and in the midst of the busy season here, I am reflecting back upon a year of growth, changes and fun! So much has happened this past year and it all happened so fast, we didn’t have a chance to share some of it along the way!

This year, after experiencing such a season of growth, we have had some changes in the studio. We have added more stylists for hair and makeup styling prior to photo shoots as well as a dedicated multi-media assistant for all of back end productions. In addition, we have added assistants to help with post-processing and design needs… and one of our biggest changes is our blog.

We have added a guest blogger to the scene (behind the scenes for awhile now), but allow us to introduce a new voice. Our assistant, Krista, has been sharing some of the blogging responsibility lately and will continue to do so. So, from now on, we will sign our blogs so our clients know whose voice they are reading when visiting the blog. Today - it’s me, Melissa! :)

All of these changes and a few more behind-the scenes are necessary as our little small business continues to bloom. You will see more of Krista around the studio as well as she is helping prep for set creations now, packaging products and orders, editing, and other studio responsibilities. And more help will be added, as needed, behind the scenes too with some of our faithful team over the years.

We have fun things in the planning stages, so stay tuned for some new and different things around the corner. We are excited for all that remains to unfold … and a huge thank you for choosing us and trusting us to capture your most precious memories. We are ever so grateful for your continued support over the years and look forward to great things ahead!
